Stoke-on-Trent, you really brought The Big Feast to life! 🤩
What a day we had together on Friday - our city centre filled with brilliant performances, colour, laughter, creativity and thousands of moments of people stopping, watching, joining in and experiencing something unexpected.
While the weather ultimately changed our plans for Saturday, we’ve been so grateful for the kindness and understanding you showed us. Thank you. 💛
An event like The Big Feast is created by a lot of people, so here goes...
A huge thank you to our Big Feast partners Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID, Stoke-on-Trent City Council; Appetite programme funders, Arts Council England; our Lead Organisation New Vic Theatre; and Consortium Board Partners in Creative Learning (PiCL), 6 Towns Radio, University of Staffordshire, Arts Keele.
To the brilliant PH Production Services Ltd, as well as LongRest Boardgame Bar and Cafe, No22 Cafe & Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall - thank you for everything you did behind the scenes to help make it happen.
To all of the incredible artists, performers and communities who brought their creativity to the city – thank you for sharing your work with us.
To our wonderful venues – The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Drop City Books, The Town Hall, Smithfield, Stoke & The Potteries Centre – thank you for being such brilliant hosts.
To our staff, freelancers, crew and amazing volunteers – thank you for your energy, care, flexibility and good humour, whatever the weather threw at us!
And to our Community Decision Makers – thank you for helping us shape a festival created with and for the people of Stoke-on-Trent.
Finally, the biggest thank you goes to YOU – our audiences. For turning up, joining in, trying something new and bringing the city centre to life with us.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together 💫
Now we want to hear from you...
