"What an emotional and accurate performance" ; "it gives me hope about the future"- is how some members of the audience commented on performance by Susan Moffat this week.....
We were overwhelmed with the interest and the level of engagement.

New Vic Borderlines production of Echoes of Justice is a powerful new piece of documentary theatre developed in partnership with the University of Huddersfield.

Drawing on testimony from the 1945 Belsen war crimes trials, the work explores how language, translation, and memory shape our understanding of truth and justice.

Moving across time, the piece brings together three interconnected voices: a contemporary war crimes investigator, a young military policeman present at the liberation of Belsen, and a survivor who gathers and preserves testimony. Together, they reveal how words are carried, altered, and fought for – and what it means to truly be heard.

Blending verbatim material with creative interpretation, Echoes of Justice is both a memorial to the victims of N**i persecution, a kept promise to never forget, and a call to move us towards β€œnever again.”
