Following recent comments regarding the New Milton Hub name change, we would like to reassure the community that the building’s history and memorial heritage remain an important part of the centre.

The decision to adopt the name “New Milton Hub” was made to better reflect the wide range of events, activities and community groups that now use the building, while supporting its future growth and accessibility for the wider community.

The Memorial Hall itself continues to retain its name and memorial signage within the building, alongside other acknowledgements of the centre’s history and legacy. The rebrand was never intended to remove or diminish that heritage. As part of ongoing efforts to honour the building’s history, the trustees have also introduced the wording “Home of the Memorial Hall” within branding and communications.

New Milton Hub remains proud of its roots and committed to serving the community for generations to come.
