The Nantwich Show Nantwich Show on Weds 29 July 2026 Reaseheath College. Fun Dog Show, BMX bikes, over 250 trade stands & activities for all ages

Great day out for all the family with livestock, horticulture, floristry, home produce, pigeons & egg competitions. There have been lots of changes at Nantwich Show HQ. We no longer host the International Cheese Awards (you can find them at the Staffordshire Showground now). We have also had to move from our old site to Reaseheath College but as Reaseheath is a leading land-based college and university centre with courses in agriculture, rural business, horticulture and floristry (to name a few!), we felt there was no better synergy than this! For our 125th anniversary our theme is Best of British and showcasing all that's brilliant about the rural and agricultural life within our shores. We had an action packed schedule including talks at "The Stack Yard" as well as hands-on activities, live demonstrations and interactive exhibits.

It is part of our commitment to increase the opportunities to learn more about modern farming and discover the journey from field to fork.

We are so very sad to share the news that past chairman of Royal Cheshire County Show Alan Ford and his son Rick have both passed away in a tragic accident on their farm.

We are thinking of their family and their show friends and colleagues.

UPDATE: Father and son named following tragic Cheshire farm incident.

The two men who sadly died after falling into a slurry tank at a farm near Northwich have been named as Alan Ford, 72, and his son Rick Ford, 42.

Both had strong links to the Cheshire Agricultural Society, which has paid tribute to the pair following their deaths.

We are sad to share the news that our team member Gordon Ellis has passed away.

Gordon spent over 35 years supporting the sheep section, working alongside the late Kevin Hammersley and then providing great insight into the section when we relaunched at Reaseheath College. in 2022.

We send our sincere condolences to Ian, Lavinia, Megan, all also members of our Sheep team and all of Gordon's family.
