Can you believe its been 3 months since the fantastic weekend we had in June ? Aero Vantage Drone Services covered our Armed Forces Day this year and I hope you agree they did a brilliant job. While they were here they also had a little side mission at the stunning Lancaster Castle.
They were lucky enough to receive rare permission to capture footage in and around this incredible location, and what an experience it was.
Lancaster Castle is such an iconic part of the district, and we couldn’t wait to share a little of what they captured with you all.
We hope you enjoy watching it as much as Leon and Andy enjoyed filming it. Let us know what you think in the comments, we’d love to hear from you.

What an incredible weekend at the Lancaster & Morecambe District Armed Forces Weekend!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our visitors, volunteers, supporters, exhibitors and everyone who donated, we're delighted to announce that we raised over £8,500 for charity! 👏

The funds raised will help support a range of fantastic organisations, including:
🚁 North West Air Ambulance Charity
🌺 Royal British Legion, Morecambe & Heysham Branch
✈️ RAF Association
🎖️ SSAFA - Armed Forces Charity
🤝 BAY VETERANS ASSOCIATION
⚓ Submariners Association..and several other deserving charities supporting our Armed Forces community.

This incredible total simply wouldn't have been possible without every person who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored or helped make the weekend such a success.

Together, we've shown what our community can achieve when we come together to support those who have served and continue to serve our country.

From all of us involved in organising the event – thank you for your generosity, your support and your community spirit. We can't wait to see you all again next year!
