Monmouth Town Council is organising a range of events and activities for St. David's Day, thanks to a successful grant application to the
Welsh Government. The funding was only confirmed a few weeks ago, so the team have been working incredibly hard to pull together an exciting events programme, including storytelling and writing, a Twmpath (dance), a celebration of Welsh culture, art and music and a produce market on the Monnow Bridge / Cattle Market. Monmouth Medieval Festival needs you!

We've had 3 great years of this event, organised by a working group comprised of Monmouth Town Councillors and community volunteers, and largely funded by the Town Council.

Moving forward, we'd love to have a broader level of expertise within our group and also aim to make the event less reliant on Town Council funding. We'd love to have additional support from a few people with time and experience in any of the following areas:

Marketing and promotion
Fundraising / business links
Liaison with market traders / coordination of our market area at the event.

If you think this is something you might be keen and able to get on board with, please get in touch by email on [email protected] for an informal discussion to understand what's involved.

Thanks in advance!

We've taken some photos of the events as organisers, but would love to see yours as well; often the best ones are the ones we wouldn't have spotted. If you're happy to share for future use, please feel free to comment and add in here.
