It's been quite a year for the Victory Hall. We've:

- Re-fitted and modernised the ladies and gents bathrooms
- Replaced the curtains (from MANY years ago!) with clean-looking blings
- Introduced planters on the outside of the building
- Refurbished the outside of the building to freshen it up and undergo essential maintenance
- Carried out new planting in the beds at the front of the hall
- Lit up the 'remembrance WW1 soldier' so that he's a shining beacon at nighttime

Not to mention looking after all the users of the Victory Hall - there's something going on there every day pretty much!

We've also hosted an average of one wedding reception per month as well!

The Victory Hall is a not-for-profit organisation and is ran by volunteers in the Mobberley community, for the people in the community.

If you'd like to get involved with the running of the Victory Hall, please do get in touch - we're always looking for help in many areas.

Phewww! I'm off for a lie-down after all that!

The Mobberley community was out in force yesterday with the sun on their backs for the Rose Queen Parade. The bands and floats set off from the Victory Hall at 1pm before making their way through the village followed by an afternoon of entertainment.

Were you watching the parade? What was your highlight?
