What an interesting follow up from yesterdays card, where all we did was worry about material things, legacy, savings etc.
Today we see a reward and recognition showing itself.
Maybe the universe saw all your worries yesterday and decided to calm your mind by showing you that there’s not much to worry about really.

It might be that your life has been, to put it mildly, an adventure up to this point and all your fears are firmly rooted in reality!
Hey I know the feeling, I’ve been self employed most of my working life.
However, with this card the message very much is that things are okay.

As a card-of-the-day energy, this is reminding you to enjoy what you have today. You achieved plenty and today you should really remind yourself that all that you have done led you here and that’s no mean feat.
Live a little, enjoy the spoils and fruit of your labour, let others spoil you and be proud of all you have achieved. You very much deserve it!

Four of Pentacles

Pentacles are associated with the Element of Earth, with matter, practical problems and material possessions.
The number four is also often associated with earthly matters, do in this card we get a double whammy of practical problems and/or solutions.

It is likely that that’s what is currently on your mind. Saving for the future, building up wealth and legacy, concerning yourself with all things that are yet to come and even the worry what you might leave behind.
You currently have a strong longing for more stability and financial independence.

Those are all very legitimate worries, especially in the current financial climate, but be very aware that you don’t preoccupy yourself with accumulation of possessions so much that life will pass you by!
After all, what do we work for? Surely it should be to make our stay on this planet a pleasant time.
Obviously if you do need to save for something, then do, but this card suggests that is more a case of worrying a bit too much instead of enjoying what you have.

Ten of Wands

Wands are linked to the element of fire and all things that concern our passions, creativity, enterprise, energy and expansion. Combine this with the ten, that usually signals the end of a cycle, completion, but also abundance and a bit if excess.

So what do you get when there’s too much fire, passion and energy?
You often get a person who doesn’t know when to stop and say no.
When all projects and opportunities on offer seem too tempting, it happens very easily that we overstretch ourselves and take on way too much.

Be aware today that when everything gets a bit too much and you find even the things you usually enjoy a burden, to maybe just sit it out for a bit. Say no to an extra load of responsibilities, nothing good comes from playing the martyr. All the things you have to do today are very likely still there tomorrow.
Do what you can, but don’t take in more.

Two of Pentacles

Pentacles in the tarot, as we have seen before, concern themselves with all things material, earthly and practical and the two is a sign of duality, balancing, partnerships… all things concerning two sides to a coin.

This card addresses balance and adaptability, juggling at least two responsibilities or even jobs, at the same time.
Luckily it also indicates having the ability to do just that with some ease and not feel overburdened. Think of a juggler easily keeping his act flowing.

Today, when different things come knocking on your door and you have to answer, you will find that you can take most things in your stride.
You can show that your versatility is indeed your greatest strength and you are able to multitask without breaking a sweat.
I think most onlookers will be surprised how calm you stay in all this outside hectic!

This wonderful Queen has a kind and compassionate energy, with an open heart for anyone in need. She creates a safe haven for all creatures great and small. She understands her own emotions like the experienced woman she is, but is also hugely emphatic to others who are in distress.
The one thing she isn’t though, is a pushover. Don’t cross her or you’ll see a very different side!

When she appears in a reading she often appeals to your caring side and asks you to tune into your intuition to understand where your support is needed.
It is quite possible that today you need to support a friend or family member in need with everything you have.

Open your heart to them, be there for them, defend them if they experience injustice from others, show them all the kindness you can spare.
Keep their secrets, listen and create a safe space. Someone really needs this today.
Remember that time spend with loved ones and caring about them goes both ways and recharges your life too!

I often call him the banker of the tarot deck, because he sure knows how to keep his wealth together and grow it.

He is the ultimate symbol of practical thinking. A very grounded energy, connected to the element of Earth.
It is possible that today concerns all things practical, that you are called upon to be the responsible adult in the room and leading by example at the same time.

Maybe today you will see unexpected responsibilities falling on you. Don’t worry, you have the skill, the knowledge and the authority to step up, without a doubt.
Be guided by logic and reason today.
For any decision you might have to make, ask yourself this:
Is it practical? Will it help me further down the line?
Keep your wits about you and it will be fine.

Strength

Every time this card appears before me I can’t help but smile and think “Yes, I hear you!”
The Strength card is connected to the element of fire and very much to the sun sign of Leo, which both describes me personally pretty well 🔥♌️🦁
But what it is talking about we all have experienced.

The great beast that lives inside us, whether that’s anger, jealousy, temper, lack of confidence… it has many names, might need taming today.
I think I said this many times, this is not about ignoring or suppressing any of those feelings, but understanding where they come from and doing your best not to be governed by them.

Try your utmost today to channel inner peace, don’t let your ego run wild or your fears dictate what you say and do.
This isn’t about playing it small, this is about not roaring when a confident look and knowing word does way more to keep things in check.
The feelings that are bubbling up today are messengers though and you do need to listen to them, but not give in to a knee jerk reaction and do more damage than good.

Here’s the thing though, you absolutely possess the ability to succeed against all those opponents. You really have the upper hand and definitely the moral high ground!
Don’t hesitate to assert your own point of view, because you do actually know better here.

Tie up some lose ends, if you have to. Stand your ground, make your own decisions and rely on your inner strength today.
Don’t listen to any of the nay sayers, they really have no clue! Once that’s dealt with, simply get on with your life.
