After the delivery only arriving around 3pm yesterday, this is all that’s left of the one up shads in 4inch and 5inch at £8.99 🤦‍♂️

June Fish Of The Month 😁😁

All you have to do is catch a fish on any lure bought from us (doesn’t have to be bought this month) and post your catch photo under this post 😁😁

Prizes:
Winner- HTO Lure Game worth up to £105.99
2 runner ups- 3 packs of our lures each worth up to £25

Lure must be in the photo and we will check against the website that the lure was purchased from us 😁😁

Between myself and 2 others we will decide on 3 photos to put up to a public vote where the most liked photo within 7 days wins 😁😁

No one can win overall more than once so we will have 12 anglers by the end of 2026 with new rods but you can still be shortlisted to win a couple of packs of lures multiple times so even if you do win it is still worth an entry the following months.

Open to anglers within UK and Ireland.

Your photo may be used on the main page away from the FOTM post but this does not mean you have won a prize.

Rules:
Caught on a lure bought directly from Rooneys Fishing Supplies
Fish Must have been caught within the previous 4 weeks
No Dead Fish
Do not name marks
If the lure is not present in the photo then photo will not count

Not a rule but may help- a little write up to go with the photo, technique used, conditions, ground fished over, general area (county is enough)

If you are planning to fish south Pembrokeshire during the tournament and in particular anywhere around Castlemartin/St Govans then please check as a lot of areas are going to be closed to the public due to military exercises being carried out.

David Miller Art 👀🤯

A second day in the studio this week, as the conditions for diving aren't too promising at the moment! Going through all my puffin reference inspired another composition, which I'm painting in a completely new ( to me) blue, which is the Cerulean Blue from Michael Harding. It's naturally turquoise to start with, which is often a good colour for portraying Pembrokeshire underwater. It lacks the darkness of the Ultramarine Blue which has been the foundation of my ocean colours for years, but it's always interesting to try something new, and the Cerulean is certainly a lovely colour.
