🚗 Our David has been out and about visiting our lovely advertisers!

First stop… Four Priests! 🍻

With two fantastic venues, one in Sandbach and one in Middlewich, Four Priests is a great place to catch up with friends, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere!

We love getting out and about, catching up with our advertisers and supporting the brilliant local businesses that make our towns so special.

And knowing David, we’re pretty sure he managed to squeeze in a little drink while he was there too! 🍺😂

💪 YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU

When you picture yourself in 20 or 30 years, what do you hope you’ll still be able to do?

Carry the shopping? Climb the stairs with ease? Play with the grandchildren? Enjoy a long walk or an active holiday?

In our latest article, JWC Health & Fitness explains why strength training isn’t just about how you look – it’s an investment in your future health, independence and quality of life. (Arch Publications)

And the best bit? It’s never too late to start. Whether you’re in your 30s, 50s, 70s or beyond, becoming stronger today can make a real difference to the years ahead. 💙

👕♻️ SCHOOL UNIFORM – COULD PRE-LOVED BE THE WAY FORWARD?

With the cost of getting children ready for school putting increasing pressure on family budgets, there’s a growing conversation around making school uniform more affordable – and more sustainable too.

In our latest article, Sam Dale & Son in Holmes Chapel looks at why getting good value from uniform isn’t always about buying the cheapest option – sometimes it’s about making sure clothing lasts long enough to be passed on and given a second (or even third!) life. (Arch Publications)

Through their Pre-loved Trade-In Scheme, families can return good-quality uniform in exchange for credit towards future purchases, helping other local families while keeping perfectly wearable clothing out of waste. 🌍💚 (Arch Publications)

It’s a great example of how saving money and reducing waste can go hand in hand.

🎓 KATY MEETS… HOLMES CHAPEL’S HEAD STUDENTS

What does it really mean to represent your fellow students?

Katy recently sat down with Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School’s newly appointed Head Students, Max Darbyshire and Tiffany Gamanya, for a conversation that went far beyond school life.

They chatted about their very different journeys, overcoming the disruption of Covid, building confidence, celebrating different cultures and, most importantly, creating a school community where everyone feels they belong and has a voice. 💙

It was inspiring to hear two young people speak with such enthusiasm about supporting others and making a positive difference for the students coming up behind them. (archpublications.com)
