Next week is Falls Prevention Week, an annual event that aims to raise awareness of preventing falls, reducing the risk of falls and helping older adults to live without the fear of falling.

Our dedicated Don't Fall For It! Service will be out and about across Cwm Taf Morgannwg sharing information, advice and resources for anyone who is worried about falling.

What a fantastic evening at Youth Forum! 🍕🌿

Tonight, our young people picked fresh plums from our Green Flag award-winning garden and then got creative by making their own delicious pizzas. It was great to see everyone getting involved, having fun, and enjoying the fruits of their hard work.

Next week, we're looking forward to an exciting Games Night featuring a quiz, games, challenges, and much more! 🎲🏆

🌿 Home Education Forest School is Back! 🐞🍃

We are delighted to announce that our Home Education Forest School is returning, starting Monday 21st September at Dowlais Community Centre.

Our sessions provide home-educated children and young people with the opportunity to explore the natural world through hands-on outdoor learning experiences. From den building and nature crafts to scavenger hunts, pond dipping, and wildlife discovery, participants can learn new skills, make friends, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. 🌱✨

Session Times:

🍃 Younger Group (Ages 6–11)
🕙 10:00am – 11:00am
💷 £3 per session

🌿 Older Group (Ages 11–16)
🕦 11:30am – 12:30pm
💷 £3 per session
