There is no Tough Love/Valentine's Run planned for 2023.

We do not have the man power to run the event this year, as we are down to a volunteer committee of 3. If you would like to see the event go ahead next year, please let us know how you can help us organise it. There are many jobs ahead of the day so you can still run it if you would like to. Comment below or send us a message.

Announcement - this running club has a committee of 3 people. Yes, that's right 3! I know many of you are desperate to see the photos, but constantly asking and posting gifs is not going to make them appear any quicker and is quite rude to be honest.
The 3 of us all have full time jobs and families. The photos were taken by our volunteers and we therefore need to upload them ourselves. There are literally 100s of them to sort through and upload.
They will get done soon, I promise, but our families and our jobs come first and you are just going to have to wait. When they are done we will post the link on this page, so instead of asking, please just check the page.
Please show kindness, patience and understanding.

THANK YOU to all V10 runners (plus our marshals/ helpers) today. We hope you enjoyed running the race, as much as we enjoyed hosting it.

We are aware of a few issues that didn’t go quite to plan.

There was some disappointment from some runners that the route was, at times, a little unclear and that may have even lead to those individuals losing out on a podium position! Plse bear in mind that in the week leading up to race day, certain key marshals were having to cancel their attendance today due to Covid 19. We believed we had enough marshals to host the event safely, but we were definitely stretched for resource.

We also had an issue with chip timing that impacted the 3rd place female winners.

Although 2022 was one of the easiest races for you to run because of the weather, because of Covid this year has been by far the hardest we have had to organise and we are all volunteers.

We apologise if you were one of the runners affected, we will seek to make improvements, for next year.

Thank you to everyone today who came and made for a fantastic day.
Our wonderful volunteers are all very shell shocked after pulling this off in only 6 weeks, so please bear with us as we have collapsed in a heap this evening.

We still really need some more help with marshals! Please consider giving up your Sunday morning. I can't promise warmth or dry weather, but there will be tea and cake and that wonderful feeling afterwards that you did something amazing for your local community!
Please ask your family to help if you are running. If you are not running then remember how useful the marshals are and become one!

This year's race is ON!
But we really need marshals to help. If (like me) you are not ready to run this year or want to give back to the community then please volunteer for marshalling.
Or maybe you are running, could your family marshal as they will be able to cheer you on?
