Saturday event key information and FAQs.

These will be added to and updated as we head closer to the opening time

- can I bring a dog? 🐶
Yes, but must be on a lead at all times. Any mess? Tidy it up

- what time does it start? 🕰️
Our first act will be on at 5:30pm

- what time will it finish?⏳
At the moment, it should be around 9:30pm, but as ever, life comes at us with all sorts of problems!

- can I bring my own refreshments? 🍺 🍔
Well, no. The event is free to attend, we have a couple of bars, with tea and coffee available too. We also have an awesome food vendor, we really must insist that you support the vendors on-site.

- Is there a parade?
No 😔. Due to stricter enforcement of legislation, we were unable to have a parade this year. We’ll be back next year, but the whole usual Memories event revolves around the parade. To have stalls etc wouldn’t have been worth it for the traders and stall holders. There are two ‘permitted’ closures of Huddersfield Road - one is the Royal British Legion - Meltham parade, the second is the Town Council Civic Service parade. We’ll be consulting with KMC going forward, however it simply wasn’t possible this year, given timings. But…next year…we have the Tour de Yorkshire Femmes race coming through the town, so we have plans for that! 😃
