As I am sure you have all been expecting, we can now confirm the cancellation of the 2020 WTC. The devastation and uncertainty that is surrounding Covid 19 would make it impossible for competitors and organisers to continue with this competition.
We will issue further information on deposits when the WTC 2021 is confirmed.

"Unfortunately, due to issues surrounding the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), MGA Scotland have made the decision to suspend all arrangements for the 2020 World Team Championship with immediate effect.

We would appreciate understanding at this very challenging time. We will keep members informed of future changes."

If you would like your pony to be part of the Scotland World Team Championships 2020, please email [email protected] and Caitlin will send you an application form.
Giving your pony an opportunity to be part of the WTC also allows our overseas IMGA Family members the chance to compete and represent their country. The rider will enjoy the experience of riding a different pony and form an exciting new partnership.
It is customary for the host country to source ponies for riders competing at the World Team Championships who cannot bring their own.
Scotland needs your help.!

Team Hosts Required at World team Games
Calling past and present members: Can you help MGA Scotland by acting as a Team Host to one of competitor teams? Do you speak any foreign languages?

Much of the help will be needed before the WTC, liaising with the country representative and gathering information eg riders profile, vaccination details etc. This information will then be passed to the Team Host Coordinator (Bridget Scott).

At the WTC (2-9th August 2020) you will greet the teams and help them settle in. Then there will be daily liaison, checking everything is going well and helping to pass on any issues that may arise.

In return you will receive a bronze package, breakfast, lunch, Pimms and Cheese in our volunteer area. A 50% reduced Gala ticket can also be purchased.

Hello everybody, the entries for the 2020 Scotland World Team Championships have officially opened.!!! you can put your entry in via https://www.itsplainsailing.com/club/mgas on website select 'MGA Scotland organisation page'

You will be given the option to pay the £1000 deposit by the end of February and then the balance of £2200 by the end of April.

You can make these payment via card or bank transfers.
