Rachel Ski Adventure

Rachel Ski Adventure I have Cerebral Palsy and I absolutely love to Ski. My challenge: To Ski all UK slopes that are accessible to me between September 2023 - end of September 2024.

There are over 69 slopes. This exciting challenge will take me up and down the breath of the country, follow me in this challenge and share to help me to create as much awareness of disabled skiing and the opportunities out there.

July is Disability Pride Month. People with disabilities are the largest and most diverse minority within the population.

What does the disability pride month flag represent?

Within the flag, each color stripe has a meaning:
Red - physical disabilities.
Gold - neurodiversity.
White - invisible disabilities and disabilities that haven't yet been diagnosed.
Blue - emotional and psychiatric disabilities, including mental illness, anxiety, and depression.
Green: Sensory disabilities, including the blind, deaf, and deaf-blind communities

Let's make this July a month of awareness, and action.

Hi everyone,

I apologise for not posting much on Social Media for the last 6 months or so. I have had a such a busy year so far.
I will be posting a few pictures and videos very soon and then I will be taking a summer break and I will be continuing my skiing challenge in the Autumn. I am sorry again for not posting that much.

Back from a brilliant week skiing in Bulgaria. Had an awesome week. The snow was just bliss. I just love being in a sit ski smashing the slopes. It's what you call being in heaven ✨️ ❄️ ♥️
