Beautiful people, we have SO many wonderful images & videos to share with you from Pride in the Peaks 2026 - Matlock's FIRST EVER Pride 🌈 …the love, the atmosphere, the sheer volume of people coming together celebrating acceptance, inclusivity & above all COMMUNITY SPIRIT!

Official pictures still incoming so watch this space - we’re only just coming down from what was the most electrifying, joyous day Matlock has ever seen… our security team estimated there almost 3.5K people there throughout the day. Magical!!

IT’S HAPPENING TOMORROW!! 🌈🌈🌈

Reminder of our Road Closure Notice; it’s rolling & only for half an hour. We’ll also be joined in our Parade by our Private SIA Security for the main event, Matlock Fire Brigade (subject to operational needs of course) & police presence throughout, so it will be as safe & secure as a peaceful parade signifying love, unity & acceptance should be. So if you’re not able to join us for it, come & wave “HELLO” - there’ll be colour, music & ultimately JOY… we’re also going to be joined by friends, family & those closest to us, from children all the way through to those in their 70’s & beyond, because this is about PRIDE in a whole community coming together ☺️ …& we can’t wait!

If you want to be part of the parade, just rock up at Twiggs car park for 12.15pm. Let’s do this party people!!

Beautiful people, the weather is going to be GORGEOUS for us on Saturday, but please do be mindful of how you can prepare for & handle the heat:

• Look for shaded areas where possible.
• Drink plenty of water - free drinking water will be available at our Welfare Point.
• Remain well hydrated & be aware of alcohol intake & effects on hydration.
• Medical team will be located near the bandstand.
• Ensure all ci******es are extinguished correctly using the bins located around the park.

Bella’s Bellydancing is a Derbyshire-based dance group bringing the joy of belly dance to Matlock & the surrounding area. With welcoming classes for all abilities, the group combines fitness, confidence-building & creativity in a fun, supportive atmosphere… & what a treat we get to enjoy them as part of our Mainstage lineup in THREE DAYS!!

We can’t wait to be welcoming Lexi Whiteside to the Pride in the Peaks Mainstage on Saturday!! A northern singer-songwriter with a powerhouse voice, Lexi brings uplifting original music, crowd-pleasing favourites & plenty of northern banter. With heartfelt lyrics, infectious energy, & her signature blue & pink hair, she’s guaranteed to get the crowd singing along!!

Holly Victoria is a powerhouse vocalist, Derbyshire girl, Bakewell business owner with the gorgeous & X Factor performer, whose career has taken her across the globe, entertaining audiences from Dubai & India to the Maldives. Now touring the UK festival circuit with Judge Jules Live, Holly is known for her incredible vocals, infectious energy & crowd-pleasing mix of soul, dance, musical theatre & pop classics. Pride in the Peaks is thrilled to welcome Holly back to her Derbyshire roots for Matlock’s FIRST-EVER Pride!

The streets of Matlock are set to be filled with colour, joy and music as the town plays host to its first ever Pride in the Peaks day, one year on from a controversy which brought the community together in saying love and diversity should be celebrated in all their splendid shades.
