Maryport Activity Centre offers a 44-station gym, group fitness studio, Clip ’n Climb, three-storey soft play, café and flexible activity spaces — perfect for fitness, family fun and community activities. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the programme continues to help aspiring athletes reach their full potential through access to state-of-the-art training facilities and mentoring from Olympians and Paralympians.

Since launch, Sporting Champions has supported more than 6,000 athletes by giving them free access to Everyone Active’s 250 leisure centres across the UK.

New for 2026, athletes aged 16+ will also gain access to the You+ membership, designed to support holistic health and wellbeing, tailored to individual needs.

We’re also excited to welcome back Olympic silver medallist and former world record holder Colin Jackson as Ambassador for 2026–27 🙌

He’ll be joined by elite athletes Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Maisie Summers-Newton, Emma Finucane, Lauren Steadman and Richard Kilty, who will deliver mentoring sessions throughout the year, sharing expert guidance and support at every stage of the journey.
