Friday 27th February – Marlow Folk Dance Club – Howard Ballard and his recorded music. 8pm start, all welcome. Held the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.

Sunday 1st March – 9am – 9pm HandyCon Games Day supporting Prostate Cancer UK. Events and prizes for a day full of games and fun! Minimum £10 donation for adults and £5 for children, come and give it a go!

Sunday 1st March – 7 – 9pm Marlow Sangha – monthly mindfulness

Tuesday 3rd March – High Wycombe Advanced Motorists meeting 7 – 11pm

Wednesday 4th March – Four Seasons Club – 9.30am arrival to enjoy a hot drink, chat and hear a talk. Book, puzzle stall and raffle every month (1st Wednesday).

Saturday 7th March – Curious Collectables Antiques Fair – 9 – 6pm

Tuesday 10th March – Marlow Horticultural Society ‘Plants for the small garden’ – speaker Ray Broughton - £2 per member £5 non-members. 7.30pm for an 8pm start.

Thursday 19th – Marlow Common WI meeting 7 – 11pm

Friday 20th March – Antique collective with Eric Knowles – 10am – 2.30pm

Tuesday 24th March – The Marlow Society - History of Marlow 1651 – 1803 by Geoff Wood

Thursday 26th March – See your vintage 9 – 6pm

Alongside all these amazing events and clubs we also have the MCA Dog training club on Mondays, Marlow School of Dance, and we host weddings, comedy nights and many more!

Statement

Marlow Community Association (Liston Hall) has successfully organised the Marlow Carnival held in Higginson Park in September for the past 20 years or so. The Carnival attracts a wide variety of stalls and activities, providing an opportunity for the Town’s charities and organisations to publicise their activities and raise funds.

The Carnival has been organised and led by a key member of our executive committee, but we now find ourselves without that individual for 2026. The committee has approached several other individuals and Town organisations to see if they would like to take over responsibility for this key event. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find that support for this year.

The Executive Committee of the Association has therefore regrettably taken the decision not to organise the Carnival in 2026.

The booked date for the 2026 Carnival is 19 September and we are already receiving enquiries from stallholders. If any individual or organisation would like to consider organising the Carnival for this and future years, please contact Richard Scott, Association Chairman, as soon as possible for further information.

Thursday 22nd - Wycombe Neighbourhood Watch Association and Thames Valley Police will be jointly promoting a 'Burglary Prevention' meeting. Doors open at 7pm for teas and coffees with the talk at 7.30pm

Friday 23rd - Friday club (morning / lunchtime)
Friday 23rd - Marlow Folk Dance - Judith Inman & Alan Archer with recorded music. New comers welcome 8pm

Monday 26th - U3A Bridge

Tuesday 27th - High Wycombe Advanced Motorists (evening)
Tuesday 27th - Marlow Centre Ladies Club (evening)

Thursday 29th - Parent & Toddler groups

Christmas has arrived!

Our decorations and beautiful Christmas tree are up, making the main hall very festive! We decorate all our rooms which make them the perfect venue for your Christmas event!

Liston Hall is a great community space that offers a range of rooms and facilities to cater to lots of different needs, be it a one off need or regular classes, meet-ups or events.

- Parties - our main hall is big enough for a bouncy castle and still loads of space for the children to run around! It's also great as a wedding venue - have a look at the photos!

Kitchen facilities also available.

- Regular classes - are you looking for a venue to host your fitness craft, baby meet-ups / classes. We have a range of rooms that can fit your needs.

- Community events - do you need a regular location where you can host your event? We have rooms that can access a fully equip kitchen.

Free Wi-Fi in all rooms and a large car park next door, and we also have an easy online calendar that lets you know availability

Run by local charity, Marlow Community Association, the hall is a hugely beneficial facility for the community. Get in touch to book your event before Christmas or for 2026!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – HELP MARLOW Marlow Carnival

The Marlow Carnival and the Marlow Community Association (Liston Hall) is looking for passionate and organised volunteers to help lead the organisation of next years Marlow Carnival!

This role can be taken on by one person or shared between 2–3 people — perfect for friends or community-minded individuals who love bringing people together.

What’s involved:
· - Liaising with Buckinghamshire Council and handling event admin
· - Organising stalls, food and drink vendors
· - Coordinating entertainment and activities
Helping ensure this fantastic community event continues to thrive and support local causes.

It’s a fun, rewarding, and fulfilling volunteer opportunity that makes a real difference to Marlow’s community spirit.

Friday club - Each week, the Friday Club provides a friendly and informal day out in the Garden Room at Liston Hall for 30 senior citizens

Antique market - Saturday 4th October 9am - 6pm

Lots of mindfulness events this Sunday 5th October: Mindfulness: The art of Zen and Psychic and natural therapy fayre 9am - 6pm; Marlow Sangha: Monthly mindfulness 7 - 9pm

Marlow Folk dance: Held every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 8pm - everyone welcome

Marlow Amateur Operatic Society - 70th Anniversary concert on the 18th October 6pm - MOAS performance and piano singalongs. £15 a ticket, £13 for concessions - licenced bar
