The Platinum Party
The Harborough Showground will be hosting a night of tribute acts and local bands on stage to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Gates opening at 15.00 with acts starting at 16.00 until 22.00. The bands will take us through the past 7 decades of music. The night will be completed with an amazing fireworks display choreographed to
music by the award winning, 2 x British Musical Fireworks Champions and local professional display team Komodo Fireworks. With plenty of delicious food stalls , a licensed bar for you to enjoy and entertainment for all ages including a funfair and local craft stalls, this promises to be a fantastic night. The Big Jubilee Lunch
This year as part of the celebrations marking The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, communities are being encouraged to share friendship, food and fun with neighbours during The Big Jubilee Lunch .The Harborough Showground will take us back in time and bring us a day of family entertainment . So pack up a lunch picnic, bring your sharing plates and join your local community for a day of family fun. On stage will be the big bands, the foot tapping, sing along music we all love. The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks finale and the award winning, not to be missed local Aerosparx team giving us a formation of aerobatics and night time pyrotechnics*.
