Tomorrow we celebrate our first birthday. If you’ve been through our doors it would be great to celebrate with you. If you’ve never been we’d love to introduce you to Lowlife. It says ALL WELCOME above the door for a reason.
We start at 9am with a new gallery wall and exclusive collection release. From 11am we have a special menu of party drinks and from 5 the main event starts with with complimentary Wolfie's Wh**ky and Monster Energy for our big birthday part including some dumb surprises.
Thank you for helping us do what we love for a whole year. Would be cool to see you 🖤

“When I first met Fos I had no idea who he was. We were 2 lads in the back of a car driving up North to go skate. He was next to me sketching these wicked little characters in a small moleskin notepad and I thought that kinda looks like those He**in skateboard graphics. I dont think it clicked til days later, I was young and dumb. Fos and I became good friends, we travelled around the UK and even the US, skating ditches and getting up to all sorts of adventures. He once saved my life in Utah but thats another story. Fos is living his dreams out in California now and He**in skateboards is literally the biggest and baddest company in the world. It’s really great he took the time to bang out an illustration for our 1 year shop anniversary. Love you mate” - Horsey

We have asked 10 artists to create 10 designs for our first birthday. Fos is the 10th and we’ve now announced them all with the collection and gallery launching exclusively in store tomorrow for our birthday event.

Richie Disaster is not to be confused with Richard Davies, the gentleman running things at Lowlife. Mr Disaster has been creating artwork for two decades or so for himself and a multitude of brands. His humorous bold style gives nod to surviving the nouties, Ed Hardy, Covid, Paramore breaking up and no matter how hard life gets, there’s always an ice cold shandy waiting for you. It’s fine. Philip Yarnell is a perfect addition to our birthday collection. I think everyone in Lowlife has said how sick the tattoos he did on our own danfrommargate ‘s skull are so it just made sense to ask him. Last week we let our youngest customers (and some young at heart) draw on our gallery wall to celebrate smashing his charity ride and to say goodbye to the summer holidays. As we’re painting over it today we thought we should showcase some of the great skills shown.
Particular favourites are Maggie’s hand drawn over the sockets, the Super S attempts (the kids are alright) and just the variety and chaos.
We will probably let you draw on our walls again. But please not right now. New gallery wall incoming for our first birthday party this Saturday!

Todd Bratrud is one of the most important artists in skateboarding over the last 30 years. Transcending fads with his brilliantly illustrated graphics that give a glimpse into his mind, his work adorns hundreds if not thousands of skateboard’s for pretty much every skate company plus trainers for Nike SB and signature clothing for Volcom/ The Hundreds etc. Todd Bratrud

The fifth artist in our birthday series is a special one. Introducing Wolfgang aka Wolfie! This kids mind blows us away, his creativity is wild and we’re lucky to have a bunch of his originals in the shop already. He drew this insanely cool Carnage / Lambchop mash up sitting in the shop completely free hand. We’ve no doubt he has a hugely creative life ahead of him and we are a mere stepping stone on this legends journey. Wolfie’s design will be available on kids tshirts and a limited amount of adult tees.

We’ve worked with 10 artists to create 10 unique pieces for 1st birthday. We’re announcing an artist a day until release on September 12th.
