Did you know 2026 is the National Year of Reading?

This year, LAStheatre is joining companies across the UK to GO ALL IN celebrating books and the joy of storytelling.

Over the years, we’ve been privileged to bring unforgettable stories from page to stage from an outdoor production of Rachel Bright & Jim Field’s heartwarming tale The Lion Inside, to a spooktacular Christmas Carol in the streets of Bath, a wonderfully gruesome adaptation of Jeanne Willis’ The Rascally Cake, and a beautiful ensemble production of Kiran Millwood Hargrave’s epic adventure The Girl of Ink and Stars.

And the love affair continues with our latest musical production The Littlest Yak by Lu Fraser & Kate Hindley! 🦙💛

Reading expands worlds, sharpens minds, and fuels creativity but too often we don’t make the time for it. So, to help you celebrate the National Year of Reading…
