Lawford Park Horse Show at Tendring Show

The working horse & pony classes start at 50- 60cm and are designed to encourage younger competitors to enter as well. Our course is built by David Merrit , a British Eventing course advisor and coach .
Both classes have historical silverware on offer and this year the ground should be perfect for jumping.

If possible could I please request competitors do not leave doing their entries until the very last evening (Friday 19th June) in order to avoid overloading the system .
For the last 2 years I’ve had to spend hours taking entries over the phone and adding them manually due to the number of people trying to enter between 8pm - 11.59 pm on the last evening .
I understand that some competitors may have genuine reasons for doing this but it’s not the majority of those that are entering. So, where possible please try to spread it out a bit more .

As requested , we added separate WPCS classes for this year .
8 WPCS in hand rosette award classes ( classes 15-18 , small breeds and classes 37-40 large breeds).
There are also 2 WPCS ridden performance medal award classes, 48 & 49.
These classes need to be well supported this year if we hope to continue being offered them in the future .

❌Please make sure your horses are up to date with their flu vaccine if you’re taking them out to compete.
Please be sensible and avoid close contact with other equines on the showground if they are not from the same yard.
Stables will have already been cleaned and disinfected prior to use❌
