Valley Aloud is Rossendale’s multi award winning, mixed-adult choir. They come from all walks of life and are bound together by their love of singing and music.

Valley Aloud prides itself on having an eclectic repertoire with a mix of music from our roots in Musical Theatre, through to contemporary pop and gospel. We have also been known to sing something a little more traditional and always aim to entertain and inspire our audiences through the joy of music.

Behind-the-scenes with the RNCM Gospel Choir!

The RNCM Gospel Choir took to the stage in March 2024 for their very first solo show, held at the RNCM Concert Hall. Lead by renowned vocalist and choir director, Wayne Ellington, they bring to life music by renowned artists such as Kirk Franklin, Sunday Service Choir, Richard Smallwood and more.

The choir is made up of students from all years and specialisms, bringing the classical and pop schools together creating a magnificent sound.

He has collaborated with artists including Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Xan Blacq, Emeli Sandé, Jessie J, HAPPY WEiRDO, Earth Wind & Fire, Laura Mvula, Randy Brecker, Lionel Loueke, Nigel Kennedy and more. The BBC, Amazon, LG, Brewdog, Huggies, CNN have worked with Xan and he teaches Masterclasses in Creativity internationally. He is a Yamaha Music Endorsed Artist.”
