Our next speaker at PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 41 - Side Quests at on 20 November 2035 is Sana Iqbal ()!

Sana is a Strategist, Creative Director, and Activist. Her professional experience in behavioural change, storytelling and politics provides a unique insight into how to use communications to change hearts and minds.

In 2023, she started Studio Sana a strategic design studio to create beautiful brands and campaigns for organisations striving to make a meaningful difference. Her projects range from fighting for stronger workers’ rights, breaking health taboos to ending genocide. Some of her clients include the Students Organising for Sustainability UK, AmplifyChange, Reproductive Justice Initiative and Project Save Gaza.

She’s led on the election communications for progressive candidates in the UK and USA. She’s also been a judge for D&AD White Pencil and Creative Review Annual Awards, and is a Board Member for Northern Design Festival.

Join us at PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 41 where we’re talking all about Side Quests. We’ll be at on 20 November 2025.

Our next speaker is himHallows (), the working name of Paul Hallows, an artist and multi-disciplinary creative practitioner based at the Engine House in Salford’s Islington Mill.

Paul’s studio practice involves hand drawn illustration, design, prototyping, animation, small scale builds and teaching design (currently a guest lecturer of Graphic Design at the University of Salford)

Paul’s art practice is focused on creating illustrated patterns, mainly about infrastructure, which are built by repeating and joining together risograph printed tiles. Each pattern tile represents a single scene and our experience of it. Stepping back, the tile repeats at every edge, part of a much larger system with logically absurd boundaries.

Our next speaker is Dave Draws (). Dave’s a freelance illustrator who has become known for creating doodle maps of different towns and cities in his trademark quirky black and white style.

Dave has been working full time as an artist for nearly 10 years, he started off creating maps as prints and creating psychedelic murals in bars before moving onto large scale map murals for different businesses across the city.

He now works globally and his clients include Red Bull, CHANEL, Nike, End. Clothing, Channel 4 and BBC Sport.

Our next speaker announcement for PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 41 - ‘Side Quests’ is Oskar with a K (.k)!

Oskar is a muralist, workshop leader, and public speaker based in Manchester. His creative journey began as a teenage graffiti writer and has grown into a full-time career in public art.

Blending his graffiti roots with formal graphic design training, Oskar’s work is known for its bold, scalable style. Collaboration is at the heart of his practice—whether he’s working alongside other artists or leading community mural workshops.

He’s passionate about using public space to make art and design a visible, everyday part of people’s lives.

Our next speaker at PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 41 is Jodi Fox ()!

Jodi is a creative director and brand consultant helping good people doing good things make an impact. She’s branded places that have come to define cities, refocused and re-energised sleeping giants, delivered positive change for purposeful not-for-profits, and helped inspiring start-ups make their dreams come true.

Alongside studio projects, she also supports various good people and organisations in an operational and mentoring capacity—working with change-makers, advocates, and young people from LGBTQ+, disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds to help them bridge existing social barriers and break glass ceilings.

She was recently named a Northern Gamechanger for 2025.

Let’s introduce you to our speakers for PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 41 - ‘Side Quests’!

Dan Hett is an award-winning creative tech and digital arts veteran, with a nearly twenty-year career spanning everything from BAFTA-winning game development for the BBC, a globally-exhibited digital arts practice, running an independent game studio, a Master’s in Creative Writing, and design leadership on some of the biggest AAA videogames in the world. His work has been covered by the The Guardian, Forbes, Creative Review, The Face, and a whole pile of other places, and has written about all this for the likes of the Guardian, Rockpapershotgun and the BBC. He lives in sunny Stockport with his lovely missus, two children, and a funny dog that has her own Instagram account.
