Your development budget adds up. But what happens when something doesn’t go to plan? 🏗️

An unexpected repair. A delayed delivery. A sale that takes longer than expected.

For first-time developers, contingency planning means knowing how you’ll cover extra costs, manage delays and keep your project moving.

“Developments don't always go exactly to plan. Strong borrowers recognise that before the project begins.” Sam Herd, Head of Credit

Our latest Mint Academy guide covers six practical steps to help you prepare, from setting a realistic budget to making sure contingency funds are accessible when you need them.

A big thank you to one of our key brokers for treating us to a ‘Pub in the Post’ as a thank you for getting the deal over the line.

A lovely gesture. Cheers from Team Mint! 💚

A winner in our eyes, Zoë Langer! 🏆💚

We loved joining the region’s property community at the Women’s Recognition Awards and cheering on our very own Zoë, a finalist.

You don’t need an award to show how amazing you are. We see it in the support, encouragement and guidance you give others every day. Being named a finalist is well-deserved recognition, and the whole Mint team is proud to have you in our corner.

Although that impressive table centrepiece with your name on it would have made a great addition to our awards cabinet… 👀😂

Congratulations to the winner and all the finalists, and thank you to the organisers for a brilliant evening.

Got a deal? Think Mint. 🤝

An auction purchase, a refurbishment project or your client’s next development? Bring it to Mint Property Finance.

Why Mint?

🤝 Flexibility - Got a complicated case? Let’s talk about it.
⏱️ Time - Working to a tight completion deadline? We’re built for time-sensitive deals.
🏠 Property expertise - Our in-house knowledge can help keep your deal moving.
💡 A different approach - Doesn’t fit the standard box? Tell us the story behind it.

MORE THAN A LENDER.

We look at the property, the borrower, the numbers and the story behind the transaction. If there’s a deal to be done, we want to understand it.

Tell us about the property, your plans and the proposed exit strategy. Let’s explore how we could help move your client’s project forward.
