All we have to say is… Thank you! 🫂

The Manchester Health Film Festival (MHeFF) has officially received over 200 film submissions in its lifetime 👏

From films addressing cancer to projects covering hepatitis-C, we’re honoured to have seen all of these wonderful films, and will continue to provide a platform for filmmakers to discuss health with future festivals.

This year, we’ve introduced two new categories: ‘Best Animated Short Film’ and ‘Best International Short Film’, which opens up entries to filmmakers worldwide. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the new perspectives on health these categories will bring to light 🎬

We encourage filmmakers of all ages, backgrounds, and styles to submit their health films to MHeFF 2026 via FilmFreeway. Submissions are currently only £10 until January 1st, so grab a bargain and submit today 🙌🍿
