Tom Savini has had a fire in his home last night. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Everyone at Weekend of the Dead is thinking of Tom and Jodii at this very sad time. This is Toms childhood home and has passed from his grandfather to his father and to himself.

Our dear dear Jim Krut has passed away peacefully last night. Our founding father Jim was loved by so many of the WOTD family and I know I share this pain with so many of you. My family including David Burman and Jen Burman are in tears and I know this includes many of you. He wouldn’t want us to be sad so please fill this post with you memories and photos of Jim. I’m sure he will be watching and smiling at all the fond memories we had together. RIP Jim. We will miss you so very much 😢😢

To all our Weekend of the Dead family..... Dean Garner and Chris Garner of ZBrothersFX, our long time friends and collaborators at Weekend of the Dead need our help.

Whilst on holiday, Dean received the devastating news that a garden fire at a neighbouring property had spread out of control and completely destroyed their workshop. Years of their immense hard work has gone. Every mould Dean had ever made, countless props, resin, 3D printers, compressors, materials, makeup, tools—and even George’s bust, covered in signatures from people who are sadly no longer with us—were all lost. They are absolutely heartbroken.

If you are at all able, please donate to their go fund me page to help them to be able to continue their amazing work and contributions to this genre we all adore.
