✨ Last Thursday was one for the books ✨

The next generation of Manchester’s music industry came together as 250 young people (16–25) got an access-all-areas pass to learn, connect and network with some of the brightest minds working behind the scenes.

A massive thank you to all our speakers, speed networkers and roundtable leaders for sharing your time and wisdom, and to every single attendee for bringing the energy, focus and questions that made the day so special.

Huge shout out to Ignition Music for supporting the event, to the Co-op Live Arena team for being such wonderful hosts, to Co-op for keeping everyone fuelled with pizzas at lunch , to John Robb for steering the conversation, to adidas and Gary Maclarnan for the incredible BTM collab trainers, and to the incomparable OneDa for hosting with fire and inspiration.

Beyond The Band highlighted what happens when we come together. Stay connected, share your journey, and let’s keep building the future of Manchester’s music industry together.

We’re excited to announce a special Beyond The Music: INSPIRE event - Beyond The Band - taking place on Thursday 2nd October at Co op Live.

A free to attend youth career day to inspire the next generation of music professionals. 16-25 year olds who want to get in to the music industry this one is for you!

This is your all access pass to the roles in the music industry beyond the band - from management, publishing and promotion to touring and production. Featuring talks, behind-the-scenes insights & networking events.

Delivered in partnership with and adidas Original Recording Studio, supported by Oasis’ management team and independent record company, the event will feature Marcus Russell (Manager .music), Clare Byrne (Label head .music), Michael Adex (Founder / Aitch manager), Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester), Bev Craig (Leader of Manchester City Council), plus many more, and will be hosted by award-winning Manchester poet and rapper

We have been given an amazing opportunity by our friends at Bearded Theory festival for acoustic artists to play the festival this May.

We are looking for unplugged, acoustic artists to play to the crowds and appear alongside acts like Iggy Pop, Manic Street Preachers and The Sisters of Mercy.
