We are pleased to introduce our next Speaker, Kwame Safo (p.k.a Funk Butcher), co-founder of BLACMEX, the UK's first Black Music Export Office, and Relationship Manager for Arts at the British Council (Creative Economy and Music portfolios).

With over 20 years as a DJ, producer, and broadcaster, Kwame has shaped the UK dance landscape through his show Houseology 101 and his Houseology label. Heโ€™s also known for his industry advocacy including guest-editing Mixmag's Blackout Mixmag series on systemic racism in the music industry (Editorial of the Year, The Drums Awards 2021).

Kwame joins the line up on Growth Day, November 25, at BEYOND Conference - championing global creative innovation since 2018.

We're pleased to announce Emma Hardie, Executive Commercial and Brand Director and Board Director at Aardman, as a Speaker at BEYOND Conference on Nov 25 - Growth Day.

Emma is responsible for all commercial, distribution, licensing, marketing, and brand partnership activity across the company. She joined Aardman in 2024 from BBC Studios, where she led Global Entertainment's commercial strategy across major global formats.

Emma is a member of BAFTA and Women in Film and TV, and joined the Bristol One City Culture board in 2025.

Weโ€™re excited to announce Hilary Knight as the Host of Growth Day (November 24) at BEYOND Conference 2026.

Hilary, Director at Change&, is a cultural strategist who helps arts, culture, and entertainment organisations with business development and strategic planning at the intersection of culture and digital technology. She has defined digital strategies for globally-renowned arts organisations and delivered multi-platform projects for major cultural institutions, earning BIMA awards and a BAFTA nomination for immersive experiences. Her clients span national cultural institutions, SMEs, foundations, and cultural districts.
