Neil has picked up exactly where he left off last year! A resounding, confident and inspired performance from the big man in Round 1. However, there will be much sterner tests to come if he is to become a TWO-TIME champion 🥊

Round 2… DING D**G! 🛎 Next up for ‘The Bishop’ is a self-submitted picture from Wendy. The excitement all got a little too much for Wendy at her very first festival, at the age of 64. Here she is enjoying a mid-afternoon camping-chair nap, with a fetching bucket hat covering her eyes. Let’s hope she has more staying power in this contest! 💪

The Best Picture! 📸 Round 1: Who wins? You decide!

Okay, so… we have had some great entries for our Best Picture giveaway and here’s how it works: comment ‘A’ if you like the first picture, or ‘B’ if you prefer the second. It couldn’t be simpler!

It’s only right that we start Round 1 with our defending champion, Neil, AKA “The Bishop”! This photo was sent in by several of you, and he was a big hit at this year’s festival. He’s up against Joanne and her perfectly Instagram-worthy picture, which she shared in the attendees’ group a while back.

Who’s ready for another Craic by the Creek Photo and Video Showdown? Our popular competition is back, and the winner will receive TWO tickets to this year’s Craic by the Creek! 🎟️

Here’s how it will work:

Post your best photo or video from Craic by the Creek in the comments below - or send it to us by direct message.

We’ll shortlist some of our favourite entries.

⚔The shortlisted photos and videos will compete in a series of “winner stays on” battles.

You... our audience, will vote for the winner of each round.

The overall champion will win two tickets to this year’s festival!

We want to see your funniest, most memorable and most chaotic festival moments, from embarrassing photos of your mates and questionable dance moves to adorable dog pictures!

The only rule is that every photo or video must have been taken at Craic by the Creek.

We won’t be able to use every entry, so search through your camera roll and send us your very best. The competition begins soon, get your entries in and prepare for the showdown! 🙌

Around this time last year and the year before that, we launched our Best Picture/Video Giveaway - and what a class time we had! You shared your favourite Craic by the Creek moments, and we put the entries through a series of “winner stays on” battles. Each result was decided by you, our amazing audience, with the overall champion winning two tickets to this year’s Craic by the Creek! 🎟️

Now, we’re bringing the competition back!

Have a search through your camera roll and post your best Craic by the Creek photos or videos in the comments. We want to see everything - from hilarious or embarrassing moments involving your mates to adorable doggy pictures and questionable dance moves!

Today is a MASSIVE day for two of the nicest people you could ever meet! 😍💍

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching these two light up the stage every year at CBTC as part of Lampa, but today they’re swapping the stage for the aisle… and we are BUZZING to watch them get hitched! 🥹❤️

A huge congratulations to Matt and Rosh, wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness and plenty of craic along the way! 🥂🍾

For 2027, we will be trialling a volunteer scheme for a few members to join our on-site team and become part of the Craic by the Creek volunteer crew! In return for working a day across a variety of tasks, you’ll receive a fetching volunteer T-shirt or high-vis vest in a brilliantly bold colour, along with a complimentary weekend festival ticket, with or without camping as required.

We’re looking for volunteers who are polite, friendly and helpful when dealing with the public. You should be mature, honest, reliable and punctual, with the ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team - experience doing this type of role is preferable.
