Beyond Words 'Beyond Words' is an art exhibition & workshop that explores communication differences in autism. WHEN IS THE EVENT? WHO CAN ATTEND? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

'Beyond Words' is an art exhibition and workshop presenting artwork that conveys the lived experiences of people with autism. In particular, how communication differences affect their day to day social life and wellbeing. This is a collaborative event hosted by autism@manchester and the speech and language therapy programme at the University of Manchester, staff at The Whitworth art gallery, and contributors with lived experience of autism. Saturday 25th March 2023 - starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm. Everyone is welcome: autistic and non-autistic children, family members and the autistic community. This event is designed to be inclusive to everyone! This event is free and no booking is required. HOW TO GET HERE:

The event takes place at 'The Whitworth', an art gallery on Oxford Road. M15 6ER

The exhibition will be in the garden studio, which can be accessed through the garden entrance, or directly underneath the cafĂ©. There will be staff who can help you if you are unsure of where to go, and you can also contact: [email protected]
