Happy to be attending this event tomorrow. Hope the rain holds off or doesn't stop people from coming. Set to be an amazing day!

The Whitefield Neighbourhood Policing Team have organised a Community Fun Day at St Bernadette's School in Whitefield on Saturday 7th June 2025 between 9am and 4pm.

The event is free to attend and there are no tickets required!

You will see GMP's mascot PC Cub making their way around the event, so make sure you give them a wave!

We hope to receive a surprise visit from the Tactical Mounted Unit (police horses) during the day!

There are two parts to the event: Emergency vehicles from GMP's Traffic Unit, GMP's Tactical Aid Unit, The North West Ambulance Service (Whitefield) and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue (Ramsbottom) will be static on the school car park. Our partners at FAM Recovery will be nearby to showcase how they work with the police and the important job that they do!

The school field will be the host to a number of local businesses, partners, charities and organisations such as: Bury Council, Bury Council's Housing Services, Andy's Mans Club, Made in Bury, Octopus Energy, North West Ambulance Service Community Resuscitation Team, Bury's Neighbourhood Watch Scheme, CrimeStoppers, Bury Lions Club, NHS North Care Charity, Bury Cancer Support Charity, Utilities Warehouse, Bury Croquet Club, Bolton Deaf Society, Pinseria Food, Cafe 2 U, Le Carte', Bury Wellness Service, HealthWatch Bury, Restart the Heart, Happy Me Foundation, Caribbean and African Health Network, The Will Writing Partnership, Adventure Babies, HomeCare, Let's Go! MCR, Beacon Fostering, GG's Boutique Fashion, Village Hotel Bury, Enso Therapy, Soph Fit Gym Radcliffe, MODS Eyewear Studio, Step Together School of Dance, Keep Bury Clean and the Whitefield Wombles!

As recently seen at the Prestwich Clough Day, Talon's will be present with their fantastic Birds of Prey exhibit!

We have a free prize draw; which is open to the first 1000 people that attend. If you pick out the correct ticket from the draw, you could win an amazing prize!

This is an exciting opportunity for the community of Bury to come together and enjoy a fabulous, family day out!

Glitter & Glow MCR are able to provide face painting on the day for a small fee & Mr Whippy will be there to top of a brilliant day with a refreshing ice cream!

We would kindly ask that you park away from the event to minimise disruption to local residents. Please utilise public transport and other forms of transport; where appropriate.
