What a great weekend four of our members have enjoyed at the PC junior International Tetrathlon at Moreton Morrell.

Tetrathlon weekends are great fun where all competitors stay on site. Lifelong friendships are made from across the country and the children have a great time (as do the parents!). There is even a regional dancing competition on the Saturday night! The cross country is big bold and technical, they aim for only 15% to get a full ride score (1400)!

4 of our members were competing.
🌟Anna in First Year Senior had a fantastic weekend. She shot 900, swam a PB, got the best run and successfully conquered the ride for a 1400 winning the section! An amazing result bearing in mind, her horse Ashington was a racehorse less than a year ago!
🌟Henry and Max were part of the Junior Boys Northern team finishing 5th. Max shot, swam and ran very well. Stormzy and Henry enjoyed a great spin round the cross country for a 1400 to support a good shoot of 920.
🌟Oliver was 10th in the Triathlon with PBs in all 3 phases, just fab!

AND Northern England were 2nd in the dance with Thriller! 💃

All in all a great time! Well done 👏

What a fantastic weekend at Windsor. To ride at Windsor was an honour and it felt really special just to be there. To compete there was something I had never thought would happen for me. There is so much to see, the show jumping was fantastic and the games fast and furious! The shopping proved good too!

I was part of a fun Northern England team. Sophia and Lucie were brilliant. Together with team manager, Eliza 🤣, we had a great time.

Tetrathlon can be a rollercoaster of emotions! You always have to move on to the next phase. Saturday saw 3 phases. The shoot went ok, the swim not so due to a swimming pool issue and all of us being unable to dive - never did I think I would report a PB in the run by 45 seconds! Sunday was a lovely day enjoying the show, together with the show jumping in the Frogmore Arena. Stormzy would have preferred to see a cross country course but he was certainly up for it and did his best for the team to finish 5th.

I felt so lucky to have competed in a team with friends - it certainly has been a weekend to remember. The training was certainly worthwhile. Henry 😊

Henry is representing Northern England (together with Lucie from the Bedale and Sophia from the Cumberland Farmers South) at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in the Tetrathlon. He is one of 24 competitors from around the country who compete in all 4 phases over two days. We wish him the best of luck and hope he enjoys the experience!

Another trip out for the games teams this weekend. The sun shone ☀️ and the children rode so well.

The assisted team of Ebony, Julia, Matilda, Bella S and Etta rode brilliantly and really enjoyed themselves.

The junior team of Lils, Isobel, Violet, Poppy and Bea did a great job and came 4th in the A final.

The senior team of Jessica, Amelia, Anna and Bella W were also fab and came 2nd 🥈

A brilliant prep for the Areas in two weeks time.
