“Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.” (The Vegan Society)

Our aim for the Maidstone Vegan Festival is to get people excited about the “fastest growing lifestyle movement”! We are keen to show people that going vegan doesn’t mean missing out, and tha

t veganism is an accessible lifestyle for all that will not only benefit the animals, but also our planet and health. Visitors to the Maidstone Vegan Festival can expect to discover a wide range of food and drink, health and beauty products and treatments, clothing and gifts, as well as meet local animal rescues and find out more about activism in the community.

FAQs

Can I bring my dog?
No, only guide dogs are allowed. This is the venue's rule, however, we also feel the festival isn't a suitable event for dogs given how busy it can get and how much food will be around!

Can I bring my own food in?
No, only under special circumstances (i.e. for a baby or for severe allergies). Our food stalls will be offering an incredible variety of meals and snacks to choose from.

Where can I park?
There are many car parks located around Maidstone. The best options for long-stay are at Maidstone East station car park, or to get the Park and Ride.

How do I get to the festival?
The festival entrance is on Union Street, which is just off Maidstone's main high street. You will not be able to enter from Brewer Street.

Is there disabled access?
Yes! Everything this year is on the ground level and outside on the lawn which means visitors in wheelchairs will be able to access everything.
