The 2026 Marlow Beerfest starts today from 4pm at Marlow FC’s Alfred Davis Memorial Stadium with loads of lovely beers, ciders and ales ready to be poured and enjoyed!

We can’t wait to see you today and tomorrow!🍺

MBCF26 took a little bus trip to Reading last week and left posters and BCs in The Alehouse and Nags Head, both excellent pubs. Big thank you to both pubs for promoting our beer and cider festival

I'm in the Hop & Vine, Ruislip and drinking a lovely Verdant Lamanva bitter style ale. There is a choice of 4 cask, 6 keg & 2 ciders, and Best of all they are putting MBCF beer mats out.

Huge congratulations to A Hoppy Place for another prestigious award. Joint Runner-Up in the 2026 Pub of the Year competition run by the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Her Naomi and Dave Hayward can be seen receiving the award from SWM branch chair, Mark Newcombe.

Great news for beer lovers — there are still tickets available this weekend for the Maidenhead Craft Beer Festival at the MUFC ground on York Road. It’s a brilliant, locally run celebration of the UK’s independent beer scene and the perfect way to kick off the summer in style!

Expect a fantastic mix of top breweries from across the UK, delicious street food, and live DJs bringing the atmosphere all weekend long — a real summer highlight for Maidenhead.

The second MicroPub was the Long haul in Bexleyheath which had 4 real ales. I had the two from the local Kent Brewery and they were excellent. Dropped off MBCF Beer Mats.

Yesterday, I visited the amazing Antelope in Surbiton to promote MBCF, where they had 10 real ales on the bar with a CAMRA 10% discount, and they took our beer mats and business cards. After that I journeyed to Richmond and visited the Mitre a lovely back street pub where they had 6 guest ales with real ale at £3.50/pt on Mondays. Again they took MBCF beer mats and business cards.”

Yesterday I visited two amazing MicroPubs in Chislehurst and Bexleyheath.

The first was the Cockpit that has a florist in the entrance and 8 real ales. I had a brilliant Mild by Brass Castle followed by a Porter by Kernel.
