So we’ve taken a look on google earth and gone back through the years to 2008 and we are going with the assumption that what’s under all the overgrowth is this…. Slightly different to the old 4x4 track but, I guess we have something to work with. The greener bits are banks and the bottom left is a bank with a massive shelf on top. You can compare this to our cover photo to give “some” idea. 🧐 (I’ll try and get up on this shelf to get some pics etc)

Let’s see how the first cutting back goes and go from there.

Welcome to the page of 4x4/Off-roading at Herons Park in Lydd!

It's been many years since we have had the 4x4 track open and this is an area we are looking to re open. We are in the process of checking out previous planning and licensing which will take some time but in the mean time we would like to gain some interest so please hit that like and share with your fellow off roaders!

There is a lot of clearing to do of over grown brambles and weeds but if you are a club leader and wish to come and view please get in touch.

Unlike previously, we will not be offering our own 4 x 4's for hire, we will be potentially having open days and/or clubs that can exclusively book.

We will keep you updated 😃
