The Bushcraft Show is jam-packed full of entertaining, educational and even emotional experiences throughout the weekend. We have pulled out all the stops to bring you 3 days full of bushcraft and survival skills, activities, demonstrations and talks. Once again, this is an international event with experts from America, Africa, Scandinavia and Europe joining us. You wil
l also find an incredible array of demonstrations and activities run by the various businesses and organisations in the Traders Zone. Many of these are free so make a point of getting involved. Setup camp in our wild camping zone included in our standard weekend ticket, sleeping under the stars in our woodland where you can cook on a true campfire. With an array of additional camping options, including family open field camping, Glamping with exclusive amenities, pitch up on our on-site caravan park including 16amp hook-up (chemical WC disposal only) or VIP with exclusive amenities. Saturday 27th May - You will have the opportunity to meet the legend of survival, author of the SAS survival handbook, John lofty Wiseman. Listen to his survival stories and valuable lifesaving knowledge that he has put to the test! One can boots be amazed by his astounding experiences. Sunday 28th May - We welcome our good friend Ray Mears to adorn the stage with his trials and tribulations, pulling from his long outstanding bushcraft career. Have a chance to meet Ray at our “Private Audience with” in the afternoon or experience “The Bushcraft Banquet Hosted by Ray Mears” that same evening. Take a stroll to the water sports lake and change your mode of transport to something aquatic. Launch your own or hire a canoe and paddle around the lake, test your skills on stand-up paddle boards or in giant zorbs. Canoe Trail's staff and Bushcraft Magazine's Richard Harpham will be there to assist. Be astounded at what you may discover in our woodland Kids Zone, inspect some of the finest adventure vehicles and their rigs in our Overlanding Zone, Shoot arrowed and sling axes in our Activities Zone, and travel back in time in our Prehistoric and Re-enactment Zones. We once again welcome Jason Ingamells of Woodland Ways. Jason will share his skills and experience as an expeditioner, paddler and one of the world’s leading bushcraft instructors. His main stage talk is one not to missed! Enjoy participating in, and watching a variety of fun and educational activities ranging from the low ropes course, whittling sessions, communal campfire, live entertainment, music, fire lighting, air rifle shooting, woodland crafts, expedition prep, woodland games, competitions, axe throwing, archery, leather crafts, knife sharpening and safety use, face painting, tracking, spoon carving, foraging and so much more...
