Lutterworth Town Hall is a fabulous Grade II listed building in the heart of the town full of history and character. Managed by the Live at the Lodge team

Offering weddings and functions in its stately ballroom which was designed by Joseph Hansom in 1836.

Can’t believe this beautiful wedding was a whole year ago!

We’re lucky to keep in touch with many of our couples and so we are super excited to hear Savage Aesthetics are opening next month right on our doorstep above Lutterworth Ink. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this gorgeous family.

FREE FAMILY FUN

This half term you can join in the fun at the Wycliffe Rooms Lutterworth as they host a whole range of activities celebrating our emergency services

🔥 Tuesday will be firefighters themed with Lutterworth Fire Station
👮 Thursday will be Police themed with Market Harborough and Lutterworth Police
🚑 Friday will have the NHS offering seasonal vaccines (not suitable for children)

You can expect:
✂️ Free arts and crafts activities
🗺️ Scavenger hunts
🧱 Make and build stations with LEGO
🧑‍🚒 Visits from the services

And guess what? They are fully AIR CONDITIONED ❄️

Free to join in. No need to book, just turn up. No outside food & drink on-site but our cafe will be open if you’d like to grab some lunch.

“What if I just don’t like cake?” 🍰

Sometimes cakes isn’t the couples first choice but fear not there are a whole myriad of options to suit every budget and style!

🍩 This incredible 12 tier stand was filled with over 100 Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! We can safely say it was the tallest we’ve ever seen and the stand is now one of our in-house options so brides can put their own twist on this masterpiece!

🧀 Or then there are the cheese wedding cakes. A brilliant option as they double up as the evening buffet for guests.

🧁 How about a ‘fake cake?’ Lots of makers can offer fake cakes for a fraction on the normal price. Made of polystyrene but iced with just the same love and attention to detail they give the artist the opportunity to manage their workload as they don’t need fresh ingredients so are often priced super competitively. A real cake can be kept behind the scenes to slice and serve.

The amazing Lets Get Loud Choir are hosting a fundraising concert here on Sunday 31st May!

Admission is free but donations appreciated as they are raising funds for the The Migraine Trust. You’ll be able to enjoy light refreshments and a brilliant atmosphere.

The choir rehearses here on Thursday evenings so if you fancy giving it a go, drop Ben an email as I’m sure he’d love to welcome you.

Last night at Lutterworth Town Hall, we had the honour of preparing one of our signature cheeseboards for the Mayor Making celebrations.

Packed with an incredible selection of cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit, and accompaniments, this showstopping board is so generously sized it famously takes two people to carry it!

A centrepiece designed to bring people together — and certainly a talking point for the evening. 🧀🍇🥂

Fresh and nutritious, making it the perfect accompaniment to your meeting. Especially where a full lunch isn’t required but you want to keep energy and concentration high.

This morning, BBC Radio Leicester aired part of an interview they had with us, regarding the ongoing situation surrounding unpaid performers and venues connected to this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.

Like many others across the region, we are still awaiting payment for events that took place as part of the festival programme. This has had a significant impact not only on venues, but also on artists, technicians, promoters, and small businesses who rely on timely payment for their work.

We did not take the decision to speak publicly lightly, but we feel it is important to highlight the seriousness of the situation and support others who are experiencing the same difficulties.

We remain proud to support live entertainment, independent performers, and community events, and we hope this matter can now be resolved fairly and transparently for everyone affected.

Alternating colour schemes! We’re definitely seeing a trend towards brides mixing and matching their colours this season.

Love it or loathe it, ultimately it’s an opportunity to express yourselves as a couple and your choices should reflect YOUR style.

💡 Our top tip is to make sure you see fabric samples in real life and not rely just on photos as the colour can distort in images and online.

With over 4️⃣0️⃣ sash colours to choose from in-house the world is your oyster. We’re even adding hessian later this year.

Last night we had the pleasure of transforming Lutterworth Town Hall into a stunning Chinese-themed setting for Holiday Lounge's special event ✨🐉

From elegant décor to carefully curated details, the room was completely reimagined to capture the beauty and atmosphere of the theme. It was amazing to see everything come together and create such a memorable evening for everyone involved.

It was great working on this brief and bringing the idea to life in such a beautiful space.
