Next Friday 18 September from 11am - 3pm is Heritage Open Day here at the Walled Garden. Pop by and see how the grass has grown, the garden has faired and the volunteers bloomed during the hot summer!
Bedfordshire Archives will be joining us and there will hot and cold drinks and something delicious available within the walls of the wonderful Walled Garden, and lunch options available at the Woodyard Brasserie (booking recommeded) The garden shop will be open with things delicious and beautiful from the garden to take home. What a wonderful Friday!
Entrance and parking are FREE!

Christmas at Luton Hoo Estate 2026 will bring a Light Trail, Skating Rink, Grotto and live performances to the historic estate this winter.
Luton Hoo Estate will open its gates to the public for a major new Christmas experience this winter. Guests can ‘unlock Christmas’ across 15 acres of the historic estate. *link in our bio

Tomorrow is another glorious day at the wonderful Walled Garden - Pop by and see how the garden has enjoyed the recent rain - There will be produce from the day in the shop and plenty to see in and around the garden. Each visit includes a fascinating tour that has been researched, planned, and delivered by members of the Walled Garden Project, with a number of different tours available on the day. Entry is only £7.50 and season tickets, if bought at the garden gate tomorrow, can be used for the rest of this year and are still only £20 for the whole of 2027 Open Season - What a bargain! Tea/coffee and snacks are available inside the garden walls, or lunch options available at the Woodyard Brasserie (booking recommended) - We can't wait to welcome you!

On the 18th we will be opening the garden gate to visitors on a Friday!

On 18th September we are excited to be particpating in Englands largest heritage festival - and entrance is absolutely FREE! Join us between 11am and 3pm, wander through the garden and its historic service buildings, visit the Bedfordshire Archives in the Conservatory, have some thing delicious and a hot drink within the garden walls, or add a stop for lunch at the Woodyard Brasserie (booking reccommended). This year we will be remembering all those who have been influenced by the Walled Garden and some of the staff and volunteers of the Walled Garden Project will be dressing in the fashion of that day in order to 'tip our hat' in their direction. Pop by to see the garden ... and us, on a rarely available Friday!
