We are now actively listing the moulds for sale, with prices. You can find these on the relevant pages on our website (www.rps-ltd.info) and they will also be on eBay shortly. The moulds are being sold at really reasonable prices, considering the development time and production costs involved. however, if they do not sell, they will be stored for another time.

Virtually all of the panels have some form of design protection on them, which will go with the moulds.

Any remaining stock will be listed shortly and also sold via eBay

We thought we would give the final opportunity to purchase the moulds to produce the RPS-S SuperSports kit as a complete project before selling these off individually.

We will start to promote the sale of the individual panels at the MG & Triumph Spares on 9th February.

If you are interested then please contact us.

Hi all.

Just thought we would let you know what we will be taking to the MG & Triumph Spares show (9th February).

In terms of new panels, we will have
1 pair of VeeBee wings for the MGB Roadster, with cowls.
1 MGB Dashboard and centre console
1 MGB GRP side fuel filler recess
1 bolt on Sebring-style front valance with ducts
1 bolt on Sebring-style rear valance
2 pairs of GRP MGB quarter bumpers
2 MGF tail fin/ diffusers for rear bumper

In terms of 'used' items, we have the panels that we are taking off of our MGB Roadster. These are:
1 pair VeeBee wings in black, complete with headlights, indicator lights and perspex cowls
1 MGC GRP double skinned bonnet in black
1 MGB GRP double skinned boot lid in black (please note, the boot lock has been filled over as we were fitting a remote release)

We will also be taking some of the smaller moulds along with us that are for sale. These are:
MGB front grille surround
MGB side fuel filler recess
MGB quarter bumpers
MGF side vents
MGF Tail fin/diffuser

We will also have a variety of 'spares', new and second-hand.

The larger moulds that are left available, we will list on the website and page when we get back, although we will have a list available at the show.

Hope to see some of you there

Happy New Year to all.

We are delighted to announce that the Rubber Bumper conversion Kit for the MGB now has a new owner!

If you are interested in this kit, please contact Joschka at [email protected]

He is based in Germany but we believe has outlets through several countries so will be able to ship the kits.

We can confirm that we are attending the MG & Triumph Spares Day at Stoneleigh on 9th February 2025! We will list what we are likely to be taking a bit nearer the time.

Hi all. Went to the Festival of Wheels at Ipswich yesterday and took some photos of Julie's car, which has now got our RPS SuperSport kit on it. We did something a bit different with the bonnet vents by splitting them in half and putting the mesh in between. Also used a different wing mirror this time as well as a different type of LED rear light. Spot the number plate!!

It's been interesting to see all of the comments, which seem to reinforce what we've said. A few people have mentioned about the racing element ... having chatted to some of the racing fraternity a while back, it seems that it was suggested that the venue for MG Live be moved due to the cost of hiring Silverstone circuit. Unfortunately nothing was done about this. It would have been great if it could have been moved to somewhere like Brands Hatch, which we think would have been considerably cheaper ... and you also have the element of attracting the European visitors due to the links with the Channel ports and tunnel. We doubt that this would ever happen now though.

Hi everyone. Just thought we would give some genuine feedback on the recent Malvern Show ... we thought we would be going out on a 'high', but unfortunately that wasn't the case. It was a very disappointing show from our perspective ... the writing was on the wall when we got there and one of the organisers said "you can spread out if you want, because the stand next to you isn't turning up"! Those of you who know Malvern do know the size of the halls there and one of the main halls had two stands in total. The organisers have described it as a successful show but we just can't see it as it has now turned into a bi-annual event. There was a lot of support from Triumph owners, not so many MGs. The fact that a lot of trade exhibitors were packing up early, including us, on the Sunday really sums it up. It was great to see those of you who did come along and say hello! We think that the only MG shows that will happen now will be the ones organised by the local clubs and some of these can be really good, so we are not knocking these at all! but the likes of MG Live or similar we doubt will happen again ... and if they do, they won't just be for MG Marque they are likely to be multi-marque shows and may then struggle for trade stands. It's obviously not going to affect us any more but it is a shame for trade / suppliers generally. People used to go along for the whole aspect of a show weekend, which meant that in terms of MG Live you had the racing, trade stands and the social aspect of meeting up with other owners ... it is a shame that all of that will be lost. We have been exhibiting at shows since the 1980's so have a lot of experience in terms seeing the writing on the wall as the same thing happened in the Kit Car industry. We will keep people up dated when we list the project moulds and any remaining stock on here and on our website (rps-ltd.info).

All set up at the Inter-Club International weekend at Malvern for our last show. Pop by and say hello if you're around.

Hi everyone. As we mentioned a short while ago, we are now in the process of listing the various projects individually. The first of these is the sebring-style bolt on valance kit and grille surround, which is now a live listing on eBay here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166696937235

These are being listed at realistic prices which only reflect the cost of mould production and do not take account of the hours of development work or the design registrations / patents.

If they do not achieve the prices, then they will be stored until a later date. We are not needing to sell for financial reasons and are happy to wait until the economy picks up if necessary ☺️

The design registrations / patents will still be owned by us until they are transferred with each project ...

We are starting to put together a SuperSports kit on our new MGF and are also holding on to our Black MGB Roadster. The decision we have made is that we will strip off all of the existing panels and fit one of the RP251 body kits. We will be selling off the panels that we don't need from this car and they will probably be taken to the Malvern Show.

We'll notify when we list each of the projects and of course, let you all know as these sell and details of new owners as we are still getting enquiries from people wanting to order.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that two guys local to us (Ben and Paul Chapman) have taken on some of the smaller MGF/TF projects. These include the front splitter, Rear light pods, the new bonnet vents, interior air vent adaptors, wing mirror bases, the original rear wheel arch/air scoop for the TF and front wheel arch/gills for the F or TF. They have also taken on the new rear air scoop for the MGF which was featured on our latest silver car. We will share their contact detail when they are ready to start supplying. Also, the design registrations for these panels have now been transferred over to them.

Just before Christmas we did mention that we were looking for an MGF to fit one of the SuperSports kits to. We now have a 1998 1.8 VVC ... the plan is to fit the kit and have this on display at the Malvern Show at the end of June. This is because the SuperSports kit hasn't been seen around for a few years now, so we think that the best option of selling the moulds is to have a display vehicle, which we intend to keep.

We keep you posted on further developments.
