🇬🇧 Could You Help Make Lowestoft Armed Forces Day 2027 Even Bigger and Better? 🇬🇧

Following the incredible success of this year’s event, we’re now looking ahead to Lowestoft Armed Forces Day 2027 on Saturday 26th June 2027 – and we’d love some new faces to join our committee.

We’re looking for enthusiastic people who would like to help organise one of the town’s biggest community events. Whether you can spare a little time or a lot, your support could make a real difference.

We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone with contacts or experience in:
🎖️ Military associations
🪖 Re-enactment groups
🥁 Marching bands
🎺 Military bands
🇬🇧 Cadet organisations
✝️ Drum Head Service
🚛 Military vehicles and displays
🛍️ Exhibitors and trade stands
🎪 Event organisation
🙋 Volunteers
…or anything else that celebrates and supports our Armed Forces community.

No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm, ideas and a willingness to get involved.

📅 Our next committee meeting will be held on Monday 7th September at Lord Kitchener’s Guest House, Kirkley Cliff, Lowestoft, NR33 0BY at 7pm We’d love to welcome anyone interested in coming along to meet the team and find out how you can get involved.

🇬🇧 What a privilege to be hailed a success by the Lowestoft Journal!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, exhibited, performed, sponsored and supported Lowestoft Armed Forces Day 2026. Your incredible comments and kind words have meant so much to us. 🫡

To see the event recognised as a success is something we’re immensely proud of, but it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of our community.

Good evening everyone we hope you are as excited as we are for tomorrow Armed Forces Day 2026 is finally here.

For all those who want to volunteer to help the day go as smoothly as possible and we can only do that with a great team of volunteers, nothing is too hard but if you want a great day and have a great free volunteer party at the end of the event, please come along to Sparrows Nest 08:30 for a briefing at 09:00.
