This is what a Trailblazers evening looks like πŸ”₯

Filmed at our UK edition, and the format is the same wherever we run it.

Built for people two to six years into their events career. Past the steepest part of the learning curve, working out what comes next.

Expert-led discussion, practical skill development, and help building your own profile.

Two dates left this year.

πŸ“… 1st October, New York. Our first ever in the USA.
πŸ“… 24th November, London. Running alongside GHC Live for the first time.

Data analysis and ROI reporting. AI tool literacy. Sustainability reporting. Business case writing.

The events role has changed fast, and this year's survey asks what skills you now need that you didn't three years ago, and whether your organisation is actually investing in the training to help you keep up.

Entries for the 2027 ICEN Awards open September 1 πŸ†

These awards exist to put in-house event teams centre stage, which happens less often in this industry than it should. And they are not decided by budget.

The entries that win explain what changed. Not what was delivered, not how many people came, not the feedback score. What the organisation could do afterwards that it could not do before.

If you have spent this year on something you are quietly proud of, that is your entry.

Tag a team whose work deserves one. Plenty never put themselves forward πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ™οΈ New 5at5 episode out now.

Sharon Dana sits down with Hayley Good, Marketing Manager at Accenture UK & Ireland, for a conversation about falling into this industry by happy accident and never wanting to leave.

Hayley talks about what keeps her motivated, why the events community is unlike anything you'll find elsewhere, and the one piece of advice she'd give to anyone at any stage of their career.
Worth a listen to find out what it is.
