With less than a month to go, the final details for Titanfest 2016 - taking place on Saturday, November 19th - have just been announced.

Following cancellations from Hysterica, Huron and Weapon UK, their replacements are: rising Midlands rockers STORMBRINGER, NWOBHM stalwarts Sacrilege and Birmingham thrashers Eradikator, and they join the existing bill consisting of Onslaught official, Oliver/Dawson Saxon, SKYCLAD, HELL, Warrior Soul, Anihilated, Nightlord, Beholder, Bull-Riff Stampede, FURNAZE, Mechanical God Creation, and DETHONATOR.

The timings for the day's events have also been released on the festival's web site, www.titanfest.uk.

Titanfest has also teamed up with monthly metal night Alive to provide an additional evening of old-school metal, to be held at the Lounge in nearby Archway on Friday 18th November as a Titanfest pre-show gig.

The line-up for the Friday night will be: The Deep, Seven Sisters, Bangover, Meat Train, and Black Crane Totem, bringing the total number of acts for Titanfest to 20! Titanfest ticket holders will have discounted access to the show.

Festival organiser and Nightlord guitarist Ferenc Collins says, "Onslaught asked us to put on an extra-special show in London and I've been working my arse off to make that happen for them, especially as it's a double-celebration for them - the 30th anniversary of THE FORCE, and also the last night of their UK tour with Anihilated and Beholder. For the after-party I've had a couple of people scoff at the idea of Metal Karaoke, but then when they see us do it at the Dev and people are singing metal, thrash, death metal, black metal - and done completely unlike any other karaoke night, they soon change their minds. Besides, it's just another way to celebrate the music we all love, isn't it? We're going to have a lot of fun, so come and join us!"

Titanfest takes its name from The Underground Titans Tour '92, a showcase tour of the finest up-and-coming underground metal bands of the era, in an unprecedented air of cooperation between bands creating what is still hailed by many as the first underground metal tour. Now, that spirit of brotherhood and unity shines through as some of the most time-hardened bands work side-by-side with the newer generation of underground bands to bring a full day's worth of aural assault from the finest in old school metal, thrash and death metal around.

TITANFEST 2016 has just announced the final line-up for its second all-dayer, taking place on Saturday, November 19th.

Joining the bill are theatrical metallers Hell, controversial American rockers Warrior Soul, emerging UK thrashers Bull-Riff Stampede and technical death metallers Mechanical God Creation from Italy.

They join an already stacked bill featuring: thrash metal legends Onslaught, NWOBHM heroes Oliver/Dawson Saxon, thrash metal veterans Anihilated, folk metal eccentrics Skyclad, progressive thrashers Beholder, old school thrashers Nightlord, Swedish all-girl metal goddesses Hysterica(Sweden), extreme thrashers Huron NWOBHM stalwarts Weapon UK, technical thrashers Furnaze and defenders of old school metal Dethonator.

Hell guitarist Kev Bower says, "HELL is honoured to be included in the stellar lineup for this year's Titanfest. It's always great to see events like this growing and building year on year, and we look forward to laying waste to London with our unique brand of no-holds-barred devilry. 19th November is going to be an awesome day of metal!"

London's all-day celebration of classic metal welcomes theatrical NWOBHM heroes Hell

TITANFEST 2016 - which will take place on Saturday November 19th - has made some additions to the event line up.

The new additions to the bill are: NWOBHM heroes Oliver/Dawson Saxon, folk metal eccentrics Skyclad, extreme thrashers Huron and defenders of old school metal Dethonator. The heavy metal extravaganza will be taking over the sister venues of The Dome and Boston Music Room in Tufnell Park, London.

Already announced for the festival are thrash metal legends Onslaught, thrash veterans Anihilated, progressive thrashers Beholder, old school thrashers Nightlord, all-girl metal goddesses Hysterica(Sweden), NWOBHM stalwarts Weapon UK and technical thrashers Furnaze.

Skyclad guitarist/vocalist Kevin Ridley says, "Skyclad are really pleased to be performing at this year’s Titanfest in London. People are always asking us for more shows in the UK and it’s been some years since we played in London. So this gig really ticks all the boxes and we are very much looking forward to it and to be part of an excellent line up that brings together ‘old school’ bands with emerging talent. Building from the success of the first Titanfest 2015 last year, underground metal festival Titanfest 2016 will now take place on November 19th at the Dome in Tufnell Park, and will feature 15 bands on 2 stages.

The first bands to be announced are: thrash metal veterans Onslaught and Anihilated, progressive thrashers Beholder, old school thrashers Nightlord, all-girl metal band Hysterica(Sweden), NWOBHM stalwarts Weapon UK and technical thrashers Furnaze.

Onslaught will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their classic breakthrough album The Force, and specifically requested that Titanfest be scheduled for November so that the album could be celebrated in style!

Onslaught Guitarist Nige Rockett says, "Onslaught are super-stoked to be headlining Titanfest 2016, the line-up for this year’s festival is really cool, lots of diversity but with one common theme, 'Great British Metal'. Looking forward to another awesome show in London..!!”
