Slightly late post!
Ideally we wanted to post the entire concert and it took a lot of effort to trim it down.. but here it is! Produced by Shirin Sriram for Drum the Bass, 35 musicians performed on one stage
- Shri Sriram: bass/tabla/flute
- Pete Wareham: saxophone
- Dennis Rollins: trombone
- Max Hallett: drum kit
- Matt Bourne: piano/synth
- Ustad Saghir Ali Khan: shehnai/dhol
- 28 piece Amersham Band, conducted by Paul Fisher
It was an energetic, exciting confluence of musical cultures. And sheer magic was created that night! Here is a sneak peak.
Recorded by Stephen Long, Sound engineered by Miles Ashton, Video credit TVox Ltd.
Funded and supported by Arts Council, Serious , Barbican and London Jazz Festival
