🌱🪴🌿🌳Saturday Today 27th June Only, Tranquil plants is returning at YOKIMONO 🇯🇵 Summer Market in Dalston .

Tranquil plants tries to bring a new angle to indoor plants; helping to not only brighten up rooms but purify the air around them. Central to this ethos is their KOKEDAMA range.

The word Kokedama (苔玉） literally means "moss ball" in Japanese and is part of the BONSAI (盆栽） and kusamono planting（草もの盆栽) styles - they wrap their plants in living green moss to provide an elegant, ecologically friendly base without the plastic plant pot. Tranquil Plants are always looking for ways to innovate and grow, with a focus on health, wellbeing and zen: each of the products can bring something special to any space and anyone.

Stoke Newington based! Our localJapanese savoury food vendor, MOGU, serving at Dalston’s YOKIMONO Japanese Summer Market for 2days this weekend! 🍙

MOGU is founded by two women passionate about creating premium Japanese rice dishes, freshly made every morning.

They handcraft onigiri daily using high-quality nori and a variety of fillings — from classics like spicy tuna mayo and grilled salmon to seasonal and regional specials from their home city of Fukuoka.

In collaboration with Restaurant Aoi chef from KYOTO , selected obanzai dishes from AOI will also be available to purchase only today at Mogu’s stall (MOGU will trade on Sunday too).

Wondrous Theatre is an independent ladieswear label based in Dalston, Hackney, East London by Eriko Nagata.

Collection is simple and comfortable made from sensual textures and finished with attention to detail that go beyond seasonal definitions. As well as their own label, they also stock local and international independent label in their boutique on Dalston Lane (it’s very close to our market venue ! ).

Rooted in the calm, intuitive “theta” state, the work shifts between softness, texture, and quiet curiosity. This page celebrates the joy of shaping small objects by hand—objects that bring a smile, a moment of calm, or a memory of home. A visual diary of growth, discovery, and the simple beauty found in Japanese-inspired creations made in London.
