A Glasgow-based Film & TV Makeup Artist specialising in Afro hair and Black skin, Omowunmi has worked across major productions for Netflix and Prime Video, including the acclaimed Aníkúlápó. Her dedication to authentic, character-driven artistry has earned her an AMAA nomination for Achievement in Makeup.

As the founder of Afro Hair Concept, Omowunmi is on a mission to raise industry standards for Afro hair through education, on-set support and practical resources. She is also currently developing Scotland’s first Afro Hair course—a major step towards improving education and representation across the UK screen industry.
