As always, the recital starts at 12:30, it is free entry with a retiring collection, the doors open 30 minutes before the recital starts and everyone is welcome!

The penultimate recital of the Summer Festival: Javier Montanana, violin (from the Cygnus Trio, and he performed a lovely duo concert a few weeks ago with Hannah Lewis, cello) and Neil Crossland, piano. As always, the recitals are free entry with a retiring collection, the recital starts at 12:30, the doors open 30 minutes before the start of the recital, and everyone is welcome.

This week's recital on September 4th welcomes back two familiar faces: Nina Kopparhed, soprano and Neil Crossland, piano. The programme, "To a Sky-Lark" features songs inspired by the beautiful countryside, and will include the well-known 1st set of Chants d'Auvergne, including the gorgeous "Bailero". Also included are Neil Crossland's setting of Wordsworth's poem "To a Sky-Lark", a selection of songs from Andrew Wilson's "Stella's Cycle" (with poems by Stella Davis, describing the Somerset countryside) and arias by Handel and Rossini. As always, the recital is free entry with a retiring collection; the doors open 30 minutes before the recital starts, and everyone is welcome.

In this week's recital, August 28th, you will have two familiar faces performing: Hannah Lewis, cello (from last week's Cygnus Trio recital) and Neil Crossland, piano.
The photo is a screenshot from Hannah and Neil's beautiful recording of Neil's composition "Through the Hourglass": you can find a link to the full composition in the event https://fb.me/e/al9lLs5Iz, and you will also be able to hear it live in the recital, which is fully dedicated to Neil's compositions for cello and piano.
As always, the recital starts at 12:30, entry is free with a retiring collection; doors open 30 minutes before the recital starts. Everyone is welcome and we look forwad to seeing you there!

For our next recital, August 21st, we will have the wonderful Cygnus Trio: Javier Montanana, violin, Hannah Lewis, cello (both Javier and Hannah also have upcoming solo recitals at the festival - also not to be missed!) and Cesar Saura, piano.

Our next recital, Thursday, July 31st will, for the first time at Harrow Summer Music festival, feature a viola recital: Morgan Goff, viola and Neil Crossland, piano will be performing a programme themed "Fantasy", and will include music by Neil Crossland, Scharwenka and Hummel. On Thursday, July 24th at St John's Greenhill, Harrow, we have the wonderful Neil Crossland, piano, giving a recital at the Harrow Summer Music Festival. Neil's programme (full details here https://fb.me/e/3q2l0mw1s) will include a very wide range of music, from the Pachelbel canon (arr. crossland), via Clementi - Sonata in B flat major Op 24 No 2, to Chopin - Fantaisie Impromptu in C sharp minor Op 66 and Nocturne No 1 in B flat minor Op 9 No 1, as well as the very popular Beethoven Op 27 No 2: "Moonlight" Sonata. As always, the recital starts at 12:30pm, is free entry with a retiring collection and everyone is welcome. Have a lovely rest of the weekend and we look forwad to seeing you on Thursday.
