Yesterday I ran the London Marathon in support of Glamis Adventure Playground, an incredible charity that allows children the space to play, learn and develop in one of London's most deprived boroughs.
The Marathon tracks past Glamis so we hosted a day of guitar jams on the very site of the place that was set to benefit from the many kind donations received. We went way beyond our target 🎯
My family came down with the most ridiculous oversized sign you have ever seen but that turned out to be a total. blessing, I'm not sure I would have seen them without it. Meanwhile we had loads of guitar social members lining the route at various spots across those glorious 26.2 miles.
It was a day I will never forget. Thank you to everyone that came down. Your energy gave me energy.
The question is, do we do this again next year? And I fear the answer might be... YES!
