Our main aim is to showcase the best of the great carrying stream of traditional song, music, dance and storytelling from the UK, Ireland and beyond. We host double headline gig nights and open song sessions. On a gig night the opening art

ist originates from or is still working strongly within a traditional form. The following act is an artist who taken inspiration from traditional form to forge their own creative identity. The sessions have an emphasis on solo performance of song, tune, dance or story with a preference for traditional repertoire but are open to all abilities. It is our belief that traditional performing arts have the ability to provide beautiful, genuinely life affirming experiences for both performers and audiences. As a club we aim to promote these forms and make them available to all.
