Today we’re delighted to share with you The Free From Bakehouse

The Free From Bakehouse is an independent artisan producer specialising in wheat and gluten free baked treats.

Handmade and decorated daily by a small team of skilled bakers in a dedicated wheat & gluten free bakery, their range really is the stuff of gluten free dreams, with many products also suitable for vegans.

All bakes are made to order and hand-crafted in small batches using premium ingredients and fresh seasonal produce wherever possible.

'My favourite of the day so far, creamy & flavoursome. A bake like this takes skill and effort to cook well, and they have got it right. Who needs a birthday cake when you could have one of these!'

'Nice clean ingredients list with a good sour flavour and nice chew to the edges. Looks, and tastes, impressive!'

🥈 Double Chocolate Cookie awarded SILVER

'Lovely chocolatey smell with a centre that looks nice and fudgy, and crisp edges. Good cocoa flavour that isn't overly sweet or overwhelming.'

'Unusual to find such a good cookie with no GF oats! This is a BIG tick for me.'

‘A Gorgeous looking cookie! Nice size, lovely colour, and a great aroma with a creamy, sweet, and pleasant pistachio flavour."

Today we have a wonderful throwback to those long summer days, out in the sun with a drink in hand.

SOLARO GIN: naturally free from & entirely sublime.

Our Entrant Spotlights continue, and we have a real sweet one for you today in the form of the Just Love Food Company

Just Love have changed the free from celebratory landscape in a spectacular fashion.

Mike Woods, founder of Just Love, was heartbroken seeing his young children left out at birthday parties due to severe allergies, unable to share the cake. He felt compelled to start a company that created delicious, hand-finished cakes that just happened to be suitable for those with allergies and dietary requirements. Their mission? To bring people together with cake, and make it the very best so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. No compromise, Just Love!

As pioneers in food inclusivity, Just Love launched the first ever nut and peanut free celebration cakes to hit UK shelves back in 2010. Expanding into gluten free, milk free, and vegan ranges, their nationwide range now covers 13 of the top 14 allergens!

And it was double Gold winning love shared with their entries this year:

With September upon us attention has shifted from holiday mode back to work and school routines. And we have a great little addition for those much needed snacks to see us through the day from The Tuck Company.

Founded by non-allergy mum Hollie, The Tuck Company was born out of the struggle to find school safe, natural snacks. With strict no-nut policies and a market filled with either sugar-loaded bars or virtuous health snacks, Hollie set out on a mission: make it healthy for parents, and tasty for kids!

Developed alongside a nutritionist, paediatric dietitian, paediatric allergen consultant, and a classroom full of kids, these oat bars are: nut, milk, gluten and egg free, 100% natural with no hidden nasties and school safe.

Since 2009, Kirsty has been devoted to creating free from food that is delicious and safe. It all began when her son’s severe food allergies made it difficult to find healthy and safe options, leading her to make everything from scratch. Today, Kirsty’s is proud to offer allergy friendly meals that everyone can enjoy without compromising on taste or quality.

Kirsty’s team is incredibly passionate; from creating delicious meals to reducing their environmental impact, supporting local communities, and continuing to make a positive impact for everyone living with allergies. The world is a better place with Kirsty and her team (along with all their delicious creations, of course!).
